Delicious food, ate the Salvadorean dish chicken with onions. Pollo encebollado. Excellent service from friendly waitress.
I love this place they take some time to bring you the food maybe because is fresh food .. I went last saturday and there were busy maybe thats why i thoughts my be the other reason why the took a little time to bring the food
No frills ambiance, I tried their pupusas with cheese and beans. They were delicious. They also give you a serving of curtido (Cabbage salad) to accompany the meal. Their fried plantains are great too.
You cannot find many authentic Salvadoran restaurants around Los Angeles, so I'm happy that we have this gem around Glendale. Everything on their menu is cooked to perfection and reminds me of home cooked meals with authentic Salvadoran flavors. They have very generous portions and you won't break the bank to eat here. Also try their micheladas, some of the tastiest I have had.
The chilaquiles are my favorite! They are only $5.99 and are delicious! The pupusas are awesome as well! If you want to eat authentic Salvadoran food, then this is the place! I highly recommend El Buen Gusto. The wait may be a little long when busy but definitely worth it.
This feels like I stepped into Abuela’s dream restaurant. I will be back as many times as I physically can. These were the best pupusas I’ve ever had. GO HERE! You won’t regret it at all.
Pupusa con Chicharon( Not greasy) fried plantano with sourcream and rice and black beans. Fried filet fish with rice side salad and hand made tortillas. GOOD FOOD AND VERY REASONABLE GREAT SERVICE.YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT THEIR MENU.
The empanadas here were SO good, as were the fried plantains and beans we also ordered. The food was ready very quickly and our waiter was very nice! Would definitely go again!
